Used Java	`D:\VMPROGRAMS\masterdaemon\jdk\bin\java.exe`	Required	The directory with the path to the Java used, if the process is assigned to the group jdaemon. Nothing is entered for processes of the Viamedici group.
Classpath base	`lib`	Required	The name of the folder in the MasterDaemon directory that contains the Java classes.
Starter name	`ST`	Required	The name of the daemon starter.
Timeout	`0`	Optional	The timeout in seconds.
Heartbeat freq.	–	Obsolete	This setting is no longer used and can be left blank.
JMX Port	–	Required	The JMX port. If you choose to use a JMX port, you must enter a free JMX port on your server. The value entered must be unique in the target system. Different JMX ports must be used for the different daemon processes.
Program name	`com.viaMEDICI.jdaemon.GraphicalDaemon`	Required	The name of the Java class. For all processes of the Viamedici group, the parameter `-server` can also be added to ensure better performance with a virtual environment. This parameter is not required for processes in the jdaemon group.
Program path	For Windows: `D:\VMPROGRAMS\masterdaemon`	Required	The directory with the path to the MasterDaemon.
Program path	For Linux: `opt/viamedici/VMPROGRAMS/masterdaemon/jdaemon`	Required	The directory with the path to the MasterDaemon.
Startparameter	`-external 1`	Required	If image processing is controlled by web services, an external daemon must be used.
	`-runAs 01111`	Required	For the `runAs` start parameter, you must enter corresponding numeric values for the following engines: Image Processing Engine Image Export Engine Image Import Engine Graphics Import Engine Document Import Engine The values need to be entered in that order to start or not start them. For example: `runAs 11111` starts all engines. `runAs 00000` starts none. `runAs 10000` starts only the Image Processing Engine. Image Export Engine, Image Import Engine, Graphics Import Engine and Document Import Engine are not started. Only the Image Processing Engine (`runAs 10000`) may be started to be used by the web service ImageProcessingService (Web Service).
	`-skipImageTypes xls,ppt,doc,xlsx,pptx,docx`	Optional	You can specify file types of files for picture elements for which no preview is generated and no identification is performed. The identification recognizes the width, height and resolution.
	`-reportSize 5`	Optional	You can specify the maximum number of entries per started Engine that the log returned to the MasterDaemon should contain. The log contains successful and failed actions.
	`-maxEngineThreads 2`	Optional	You can specify a number of Java threads running in parallel to prepare data for image processing and monitor it.
	`-forcedThreadTimeout 660000`	Optional	You can specify a time span for forcing a termination in milliseconds if a picture job does not respond and the `-engineJobTimeout` start parameter does not apply.

	`-engineJobTimeout 600000`	Optional	You can set a time span for the termination in milliseconds if an image job does not respond.
	`-engineCache 1`	Optional	You can specify that a cache is used for the image jobs.

	`-engineCacheLife 1`	Optional	You can specify after how many days the cache is automatically cleared.
